Plan B, honestly: what you get and where the catch is

You have probably read the “Paraguay golden visa” posts. Government agencies decide applications under their own procedures. This site explains the routes, documents and presence rules so you can assess whether a Paraguay residency plan fits your circumstances. Some people plan a full move; others explore a second-residency option, with obligations that still depend on the status they hold.

Plan from current requirements, not a promise of an outcome.

After you write

What happens after you message us

From your first enquiry to a reviewed preparation plan. Confirm the scope and schedule for your case.

  1. Your first enquiry

    Tell us about your plans

Send your nationality, current country of residence and what you want to do in Paraguay. Include who will apply with you and any important deadline.

  2. After review

A written answer from a named person

We review the route and any questions that need resolving. Eligibility depends on the current requirements and your full circumstances.

  3. Before you commit

Your route and fixed fee, in writing

Ask for the proposed route, written service scope, fee, exclusions and separate government or document costs. Agree what starts and who is responsible before paying.

  4. When you prepare

Your documents, in the right order

Gather the records required for your route. Confirm their format, authentication, translation and recency against the intended filing plan, then confirm appointments before travel.

Document preparation and authority decisions have separate timelines. Keep bookings flexible until the requirements and appointment sequence are confirmed.

Questions we get

Do I have to actually move to Paraguay?
Your presence requirements depend on the route and the authority’s current instructions. Ask which filing steps require you to attend and whether appointments can be coordinated; do not assume they can be combined. See the Routes page for status-specific presence rules.
Is Paraguay really "tax-free"?
No. Paraguay applies source rules that depend on the activity and income type. Work performed in Paraguay may be Paraguay-source even if the payer is abroad. See the Tax page and ask a qualified adviser about your circumstances.
What is the catch?
Paraguay residency involves route-specific documents and current government procedures. Check the presence rules and the requirements for your chosen status before planning travel or treating a card as a reserve option.
How is this different from paraguayresidency.co.uk?
The same team supports both brands. Frontier focuses on second-residency planning for Americans, Canadians and Australians, including documents and home-country decisions. ParaguayResidency.co.uk focuses on British preparation. The right immigration route, tax position and any property or business plan still need separate review.
